رحب الأمين العام للأمم المتحدة أنطونيو غوتيريش، بإطلاق المرحلة الختامية من العملية السياسية بشأن إعادة القياده المدنيه للعملية الإنتقالية في السودان.
وقال غوتيريش إن هذه الخطوه ترتكز على التقدم المحرز جراء توقيع الإتفاق الإطاري السياسي في 5 ديسمبر 2022، كما اعتبرها خطوة مهمة نحو تحقيق طموحات الشعب السوداني بالديمقراطية والسلام والتنمية المستدامه.
وأضاف الأمين العام للأمم المتحدة، أن الأمم المتحدة عبر الآلية الثلاثية المكونة من بعثة يونيتامس والإتحاد الأفريقي والهيئة الحكومية الدولية للتنمية (إيغاد)، تظل ملتزمةٌ بدعم العملية والمساعدة في تأمين إتفاقية سياسية نهائية في غضون الأسابيع القادمه.
من أجل تأمين تسويه دائمه، أثنى الأمين العام، في بيان رسمي طالعته صوت الهامش، على أهمية ضم أوسع مشاركه من مختلف الاطياف من اصحاب المصلحه بما يشمل النساء والشباب والمجتمع المدني.
كذلك حث أصحاب المصلحه المهمين ممن لم يوقعوا على الاتفاقية الاطاريه فى الخامس من ديسمبر على الإنضمام إلى العملية السياسية.
ويشدد على أهمية الدعم الدولي القوى والمنسّق للعملية السياسية ضمن إطار الآلية الثلاثية.
