بحث والي الخرطوم الأستاذ أحمد عثمان حمزة، اليوم بمكتبه، مع محافظ بنك السودان بالإنابة الدكتور سامي عبد الحفيظ، الترتيبات النهائية لإطلاق عملية إحلال العملة لفئتي الألف والخمسمائة جنيه من الطبعة القديمة. واطلع الوالي على جاهزية البنوك العاملة بالولاية لانطلاق المرحلة الأولى المقررة غداً، الأربعاء 15 أبريل، والتي تركز بشكل أساسي على تسهيل إجراءات فتح الحسابات المصرفية للمواطنين لإيداع مدخراتهم من العملات القديمة.
وأوضح محافظ بنك السودان بالإنابة أن العملية تهدف إلى توريد الأموال في حسابات مصرفية وليس استبدالاً نقدياً مباشراً، وذلك في إطار جهود الدولة لتعزيز التحول الرقمي وإدارة العمليات المالية عبر الجهاز المصرفي. وأشار إلى صدور توجيهات صارمة لكافة المصارف التجارية بتبسيط إجراءات فتح الحسابات وتمكين المواطنين من إيداع مبالغهم النقدية بيسر وسهولة، بما يضمن حفظ حقوقهم المالية وتنشيط الدورة الاقتصادية الرسمية.
من جانبه، أكد والي الخرطوم تسخير كافة إمكانيات الولاية لإنجاح هذه الخطوة التي وصفها بالمهمة لإصلاح النظام المالي وتحقيق الاستقرار الاقتصادي. ووجه الوالي بتنسيق تام بين أجهزة الولاية وبنك السودان لتنظيم حركة المواطنين داخل البنوك وتوفير الحماية الأمنية اللازمة للمصارف. كما دعا إلى تكثيف الحملات الإعلامية لتعريف المواطنين بأهداف الإحلال، مشدداً على أهمية تقليل تداول النقود خارج المصارف لتعزيز الشفافية والرقابة المالية.
