إتفاقت حكومة إقليم دارفور وولاة الولايات الخمس، علي تفعيل قوات حفظ السلام وانتشارها في المناطق التي تشهد عدم الاستقرار.
واستعجل الاجتماع الدوري الثامنة لحكومة الإقليم، تنفيذ الترتيبات الأمنية ودعم شرطه الاقليم وتشكيل لجنة فنية لتخطيط وتنفيذ مدينة (وانا) للسلام بالتنسيق بين وزارة البنى التحتية والتنمية العمرانية بولاية شمال دارفور والهيئة الهندسية ووزارة البنى التحتية بحكومة الإقليم.
وإختتمت حكومة اقليم دارفور نهار الثلاثاء الاجتماع الثامن لحكومة اقليم دارفور الذي ترأسه حاكم الاقليم مني أركو مناوي بحضور ولاة الولايات الخمسة ووزراء ومستشاري حكومته.
وناقش الاجتماع عدة قضايا أبرزها الوضع الأمني والاستقرار، الموسم الزراعي والرعوي، الوضع الانساني والخدمي والسلم الاجتماعي، مشروعات التنميه المتعثرة بجانب تنفيذ إتفاقية السلام.
وأمن الاجتماع على دعم عودة النازحين واللاجئين، وطالب حاكم اقليم دارفور وولاة ولايات دارفور واللجنة العليا، بجمع السلاح وتقنين المركبات وتفعيل اللجنة العليا للمراحيل ودعمها للقيام بدورها في كل ولايات دارفور.
علاوة على دعم ولاية وسط دارفور في طريق ”قولو – نيرتتي“، والاهتمام بالشباب وانشاء مراكز لهم ورعاية الاندية الرياضية والمراكز الثقافية وانشاء المسارح وقيام خمسة مشاريع زراعية كبيرة بدارفور.
كما دعا الاجتماع إلى الاهتمام بالتعليم العالي والتقني والتقاني وافتتاح معاهد للتعليم المهني.
