قال السفير الأثيوبي في السودان إن القضايا العالقة بين أثيوبيا والسودان، فيما يلي الحدود وغيرها، سيتم حلها ومعالجتها عبر الآليات المشتركة بين الدولتين.
واصفاً علاقات السودان وأثيوبيا بالمتميزة مشيراً إلى الروابط الثقافية والتأريخية المشتركة بين الشعبين الشقيقين، وشدد على أهمية تعزيز التعاون الاقتصادي بين البلدين.
وقال السفير ملس ألم المتحدث الرسمي لجمهورية أثيوبيا الفيدرالية للشؤون الخارجية في تصريح صحفي أن الوفد الأثيوبي الرفيع الذي يزور السودان هذه الأيام برئاسة نائب رئيس الوزراء ووزير الخارجية الأثيوبي دمقي مكنن، شارك في الإجتماع الوزاري لوزراء خارجية دول الإيقاد الثامن والأربعين الذي إستضافته الخرطوم خلال اليومين الماضيين.
والتقى نائب رئيس مجلس الوزراء الإثيوبي رئيس المجلس السيادي، تناول إتفاق السلام الذي تم توقيعه بين الحكومة الأثيوبية الفيدرالية وجبهة تحرير التقراي.
وأبدى البرهان استعداد السودان لتقديم الدعم والمساندة حتى يتم تنفيذ الاتفاق المبرم بين الجانبين.
