قال رئيس المجلس السيادي عبد الفتاح البرهان، إن الديونُ الخارجيةُ تقف حجر عثرةٍ أمام السودان، وتُحِدُ من جهوده في مواصلةِ تحقيقِ التنمية الإقتصادية والإجتماعية عبر تنفيذ أهداف التنمية المستدامة.
مشيراً إلى الزامه بالعمل على تحقيق السلامِ وتعزيزِ آليات الإنتقال السلمي وصولاً لتحولٍ ديمقراطيٍ كاملٍ عبر إنتخاباتٍ عادلةٍ ونزيهةٍ وشفافةٍ بنهايةِ الفترة الإنتقالية.
علاوة على التعاونِ مع بعثةِ الأممِ المتحدةِ المُتكاملةِ لدعمِ المرحلةِ الإنتقاليةِ في السودان وفقاً لمبادئ ميثاقِ الأمم المتحدة وولايتها المنصوصُ عليها في قرارِ تشكيلِها (قرار مجلس الأمن 2524 لعام 2020) ومصفوفةُ مطلوباتِ دعمَ الإنتقالِ التي سلمها السودانُ للأممِ المتحدةِ، ومواصلةِ التعاونِ مع قوة الأمم المتحدة الأمنية المؤقتة في أبيي (يونسفا).
وأضاف قائلا : ”نؤكدُ أننا ننظرُ بإيجابيةٍ للمبادراتِ العديدةِ التي تعملُ على تحقيقِ الوفاق الوطني في السودان خاصةً المُبادراتِ الوطنيةِ والتي تُجرى بشأنِها حِواراتٌ كثيفةٌ تُشاركُ فيها مُختلف القوى المدنية من أحزابٍ سياسيةٍ وقوىً شبابية ثورية وقيادات أهلية في المجتمعِ وطُرقْ صوفيةٌ ومنظماتُ مُجتمعٍ مدنيٍ والجماعاتُ الموقعةُ علي إتفاقية جوبا للسلام آملين أن تُثمر عن توافقٍ عريضٍ يُسهلُ عمليةَ الإنتقالِ الديمقراطي ويُفضي إلي إجراءِ إنتخاباتٍ نزيهةٍ وشفافة.“
وناشدُ المجتمعَ الدولي والدول الشقيقة والصديقة الوفاءَ بتعهداتِها التي إلتزمت بها في إجتماعي باريس 2020 وبرلين 2021، مبيناً أن تصاعدَ أزمةِ إرتفاع أسعار الغذاءِ والطاقةِ يتطلبُ مزيداً من التعاونِ الدولي.
وذكر في خطاب له أمام الجمعية العامة للأمم المتحدة، طالعته صوت الهامش،أن الأولويةَ في إهتماماتِ السودان في مجالِ نزعِ السلاح، هو موضوعُ إنتشار الأسلحةِ الصغيرة والخفيفة، والذي يعاني من السودان، وان هذه الظاهرة الخطيرة في غالبِ الأحيان ارتبطت بأبعادٍ اجتماعيةٍ وإقتصاديةٍ زاد إنتشارِ الأسلحة بين بعض القبائل والمجموعاتِ السكانيةِ.
